Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna's Thamma First Review Out Online

Mumbai, October 19 - Maddock Films' highly-awaited vampire comedy Thamma is gearing up to hit the big screens on October 21. The movie, directed by Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar, is the fifth and most ambitious film in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Thamma had its premiere on October 18, and the initial reaction has started coming online. Renowned critics and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, called the film terrific and lauded Maddock for delivering another winner.

Adarsh is also said that the plot of the film, despite its connection with MHCU, is the biggest plus and is entirely novel to the Hindi audience. He said that it is a delicious cocktail of humour, supernatural, and romance, and the audience to expect the unexpected.

Apart from the top-notch performances of the primary cast, the music of Thamma is being praised, while the background score is said to be electrifying. Overall, Taran Adarsh called Thamma a well-packaged entertainer, and must watch.

Meanwhile, the advance booking of Thamma is progressing well. As of 7 PM on October 19, the film has sold tickets worth nearly 6 crores gross (with block seats). With more than a day left, the bookings are expected to see a big jump, as the film is looking to take one of the biggest starts of the year at the box office.
