Mardaani 3 Release Date: Rani Mukerji's Cop Actioner Sets Early Release

Mumbai, January 10 - Yash Raj Films' much-awaited cop action thriller Mardaani 3 release date has been moved up by nearly a month. The Rani Mukerji-led film, the third instalment of the successful cop franchise, will now hit the big screens on January 30, 2026, instead of its originally scheduled late-February release.

Rani Mukerji returns once again as the fearless and uncompromising Shivani Shivaji Roy, a character that has become one of the most iconic female cops in Indian cinema. The makers recently unveiled the first look, as well as the latest poster, hinting at a darker and more intense chapter in the Mardaani universe.

According to YRF, Mardaani 3 will present a bloody and violent face-off between good and evil, as Shivani embarks on an extraordinary race against time to rescue missing girls across the country. The newly released poster underscores this urgency, visually hinting at a high-stakes hunt where every second counts and the consequences of failure are devastating.

The decision to advance the release date is surprising, given that a week before, there was Border 2 scheduled on January 23. The Mardaani franchise, however, has consistently performed well at the box office, and the makers are hoping the upcoming film continues the winning streak.

Backed by Yash Raj Films, Mardaani 3 is directed by Abhiraj Minawala, and the film promises high-octane action, emotional depth, and a gripping narrative, staying true to the tone that made the first two films critical and commercial successes.
