Mumbai, August 27 - The fourth instalment in Tiger Shroff's popular action Baaghi franchise, Baaghi 4, has reportedly been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on August 26, as the movie is gearing up for release on September 5. The details have now emerged regarding its censor certification, runtime, and storyline.
According to the viral certificate, the film has received an A certificate from CBFC, which hints at the intense action sequences, gritty treatment, and mature psychological elements. The approved runtime clocks in at 2 hours and 43 minutes, making it the longest film in the franchise so far. With this expanded duration, the makers appear to be balancing large-scale action set pieces with a layered emotional and psychological narrative.
The plot details of the film the also revealed, which reads -
At his lowest, Ronnie survives a deadly train crash he never intended to leave through. Plagued by grief and guilt, he spirals into self-destruction, haunted by the memory of a girl he loved—and possibly lost. As his mind begins to fracture, reality bends, and those closest to him start questioning what is real.
This synopsis suggests a darker, more complex take on Ronnie's character, showing him not just as an invincible action hero but as a man grappling with trauma, loss, and fractured realities. The mix of raw emotion and psychological tension is expected to add freshness to the franchise, which has so far thrived on high-octane stunts and larger-than-life action.
Directed by A Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film's trailer will be launched on August 30. Apart from Tiger, who returns to reprise his role as Ronnie, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and Harnaaz Sandhu in prominent roles. The film is scheduled to release on September 5
