Bhagyashree is an Indian actress who works in Hindi and Marathi films. She was born on February 23, 1969, in Mumbai, India. She made her acting debut in the 1989 film Maine Pyar Kiya, which was a huge commercial success. The film earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Bhagyashree went on to star in several successful films in the 1990s, including Pardes (1997), Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (1999), and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999). She was known for her beauty, charm, and ability to emote.

However, Bhagyashree's career took a backseat after her marriage to Himalayan Dassani in 1990. She only appeared in a handful of films in the 2000s, including Aa Gale Lag Ja (1997) and Dil Ka Rishta (2003).
