Here is the list of all George C. Scott movies.

George C. Scott was an American actor, director, and producer who was born on October 18, 1927, in Wise, Virginia. He is best known for his powerful performances in films and on stage, winning critical acclaim and numerous awards throughout his career.

Scott's acting career began in the 1950s, where he appeared in various television shows and films. He gained recognition for his role as a prosecutor in the film "Anatomy of a Murder" in 1959, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination. He continued to make a name for himself with powerful performances in "The Hustler" (1961) and "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" (1964).

In 1970, Scott won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of General George S. Patton in the film "Patton." He famously declined to accept the award, stating that he did not believe in the competitive nature of the awards and that he did not want to participate in the ceremony. He also earned critical acclaim for his performance as the lead character in "The Hospital" (1971) and as Ebenezer Scrooge in a 1984 adaptation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."

Aside from his film career, Scott was also a renowned stage actor. He performed in several Broadway productions, including "Richard III" and "Death of a Salesman," and received numerous Tony Award nominations throughout his career. He also directed several plays, including a 1971 production of "Uncle Vanya" starring himself and his then-wife Colleen Dewhurst.

Scott was known for his intense and dramatic acting style, often portraying characters with a sense of moral ambiguity or inner turmoil. He was also known for his dedication to his craft, often doing extensive research and preparation for his roles.

Scott passed away on September 22, 1999, in Westlake Village, California, at the age of 71. He left behind a legacy as one of the most talented and respected actors of his generation, with a body of work that continues to inspire and captivate audiences today.
