Fiennes began his acting career in the early 1980s and made his film debut in the 1992 film "Wuthering Heights." He gained critical acclaim and widespread recognition for his role as Amon Goeth in the 1993 film "Schindler's List," for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
