Vice president of India is the second-highest Constitution office in the government of India which has served for a five-year term. Vice President elected by the method of indirect election. He elected by both nominated and elected members of parliament (in the case of the president only elected members to have authority to select).
The working of vice president is that he acts as ex- officio( another position that they hold) chairman of Rajya Sabha. The same position as speaker of Lok Shaba and take a role of president when a vacancy occurs in president office due to his resignation, death, removal and otherwise. His role for president around six months during that period next president has to be selected. The minimum age for election to the post of Vice President is 35 yrs.
